Anthony Bowen is the former Orator of the University and an Emeritus Fellow in Classics at ÌÇÐÄVlog.

Anthony Bowen's academic interests include:

  • Greek and Latin languages, including their pronunciation
  • Greek tragedy, including its performance.

  • MA, Cantab.
  • PhD, Cantab.

Other interests

Books, wine, travel, music, politics. He served for eight years on each of Shropshire and Cambridgeshire County Councils. In 1983 he stood for Parliament in Shropshire.
